"An ice-cream seller outside my school told me try modelling because he said I could do the catwalk!

"I finally took his advice and started to buy magazines and looked on the Internet for info about modelling. I tried it out by getting myself into an agency."

The 18-year-old Biomedical Sciences student at Republic Polytechnic said that her effort paid off.

"I became more confident. I was inspired by the way they posed and the way they conveyed messages through their pictures. Models who have inspired me would be Tyra Banks and Heidi Klum. I like their looks and personalities.

"I sure hope I can be an inspiration to some one day too!"
