Don't let the booze run out, please! |

With an official champagne sponsor at the biggest fashion show in town, heaven forbid there should be a shortage of the bubblies.
And yet, the darnedest thing has happened as the free flow quickly dried up even before the shows at the Singapore Fashion Festival are officially ended. SFF-goers among you may have noticed this dire situation by now - none of the gold liquid had been passed out at the VIP lounge for the past five days.
Whatever happened to the champagne revelry, you ask?
It could be that guests enjoyed sipping on their bubblies so much that the 1,000 bottles of Champagne Tattinger proved insufficient to quench their raging thirsts, or perhaps some considerate soul among the event organisers has been doing his bit to ensure that no drink-driving charges will be pressed against SFF attendees this year by holding back on the free flow. But we overheard earlier in the week that at least 10 cases of the sponsor's champagne had mysteriously gone missing.
What a pity.
Now guests have to make do with the more common red and white wines that the wait staff have been diligently plying them with to pass the by-now obligatory one hour wait that accompanies the start of every show.
