See the new Nokia N97

AsiaOne got an early first look at the upcoming N9, Nokia’s new internet, navigation and multimedia touchscreen smartphone.

Featuring a smart tilt slider design, the N97 features a full qwerty keyboard and large 3.5-inch, 16:9 widescreen display.

The N97 also enables users to customize their home screen with widgets.

With a playback rate of 30fps for videos, the N97 can play videos, music and pictures on the TV using its TV-out port.

The smartphone also comes with Nokia Maps, and an A-GPS receiver.

Nokia plans to release the N97 in the first half of 2009.
