Launch of HTC Snap

HTC launched today its entry level smartphone the HTC Snap.

Packed with communication services including email and Internet services, HTC has also included a multiple-service instand messaging tool in the Snap. Users with MSN, Yahoo!, Google Talk and MySpace instant messaging accounts can now chat online using the Snap.

A candybar phone, the HTC Snap features a full QWERTY keyboard and runs on the Windows Mobile Standard operating system.

The HTC Snap is available from 10 June at all authorised retailers at a suggested retail price of $688, excluding operator subsidies.
