SEVENTEEN Ai Tong School pupils were taken to the KK Women's and Children's Hospital (KKH) yesterday because of suspected food poisoning.

The Primary 6 pupils are said to have complained of abdominal pains in the morning.

Confirming the incident in an e-mail response, the school said: 'They received immediate medical attention from Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) paramedics called in by the school, and their parents were contacted.'
