Raffle's Institution graduate, Pan Zixiang, emerged the top scorer in this year's GCE A-levels examinations. The Shanghai native obtained distinctions in 13 academic units for nine subjects, including German and Higher Chinese.

His was one of many smiling faces captured across schools when the results were released last Friday. We bring you a showcase of the nation's top scorers and the stories of those who did well despite the odds.
