O Level results: She spiralled into depression after parents' divorce

Thurs 14 Jan 2010

This 23-year-old spiralled into depression after her parents' divorce in 2000.
Of those difficult times, she told RazorTV: "The police used to be called to my house about once every week, and (my parents) used to put me in the middle."
The N-level dropout realised the importance of education only after she stepped into the workforce.
Now, Jenny (not her real name), has managed to beat the odds and scored distinctions in four subjects by "studying everyday".
She hopes to become an early childhood educator in the future and believes adults can "learn a lot from children".
