Girls screamed when 'Cockroach Man' walked into poly canteen

What is this youth thinking?

Students at Ngee Ann Polytechnic did a double take when this young man walked into the canteen.

The reason? He was covered from head to toe in 'cockroaches'. Thankfully, they were plastic ones.

From afar, the cockroaches looked real. One student captured the images and wrote in to citizen journalism website, STOMP. She said: "Why must he come to Makan Place (the canteen) when people are eating? It's damn gross."

She added: "Many girls actually screamed and freaked out when they saw him."

Was it a publicity stunt?
