Sharp and tailored cross-dressing

Yes, we adore pretty dresses, but there's something incredibly sharp and sexy about menswear-inspired suits. The first androgynous style dates back to the 60s, where YSL created the Le Smoking tuxedo suit for women, dressing them in slicked-back hair and a mannish three-piece suit.

Helmut Lang's Spring/Summer '09 collection features sleek, tuxedo cut jackets with slouchy knitwear and trousers. For Singapore's warm weather, we like the dressy shorts and tailored blazer combination for a casual cool get-up.

We welcome contributions, comments and tips.
