Sometime last month during a Saturday morning, I sacrificed my sleeping hours and drove down all the way to a quiet corner of Upper Thomson Road.
I joined 30 other Torque readers, plus the brains, beauty and brawn behind our sister publication, Singapore's motoring monthlyTorque. No mean feat, considering the time I usually sleep on Friday nights - or to be technically correct, Saturday mornings. The same could be said of the readers too.
After a quick wake-up breakfast of nicely brewed coffee, beancurd, doughstick and other yummy stuff, the brains, beauty and brawn behind Torque got cracking.
We were there for some sweet access to stars from Mod, a Torque section that talks about (ah yes pun was intended) the obsession of improving cars.
Modified rides from Audi, Volkswagen, Porsche and BMW were on display outside Autovox, where the event was held. But before that we had a crash course on the continental marques and the tuners.
