Joining the Forte family in the Kia line-up, Forte Koup is Kia's first-ever two-door coupé that's set to take your drive to a whole new level.
Based on the styling of the KOUP concept vehicle, Forte Koup's fluid lines and balanced proportions closely mirror its powerful design cues, offering the same aggressive stance with swept-back, wrap-around headlamps; aggressive air intakes; and a low, sleek profile for better aerodynamics.
But of course looks aren't everything. (Although it is a good reason for looking into this coupe.)
Engineered for an efficient drive, Forte Koup EX (2.0L) produces 156 horsepower and 144 pound-feet of torque that features Continuous Variable Valve Timing (CVVT) and multi-port electric fuel injection for fuel economy and greater performance.
Which are further underscored by a suspension combination providing precise handling to help provide the most advantageous amount of assist for varying road conditions.
Also ranking high on Forte Koup's agenda: comfort and ease. Thanks to 90.7 cubic feet of interior space and 12.6 cubic feet of cargo space, there's room to fit everybody (1 driver and 4 passengers) and everything comfortably. And who can resist reclining in well bolstered sport seats or the luxury of remote keyless entry and button start*?
And it still doesn't stop there. Forte Koup also offers class-leading safety features such as active headrests, four-wheel disc brakes with an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and Electronic Stability Control (ESC); the whole kit and caboodle.
So much so that if by any chance you're comparing it with the Cerato Forte, the verdict is clear:
The Forte Koup is wonderful 2!
