Madam Rosiah Samat, 38, suffered a serious bout of diarrhoea on Friday night after eating rojak from a stall in Geylang Serai that afternoon. She progressively became weaker, bled profusely and was rushed to hospital after she fell unconscious. At the hospital, she was told she had miscarried. She was going into the second month of her pregnancy.
