Operation Rat-trap

Fri, Apr 10, 2009

About 60 rats were caught as pest controllers went to work at the Geylang Serai Temporary Market yesterday, where glue strips were laid out along the stalls 'most popular with the rats'.

The management committee believes this is a more effective way of getting rid of the rodents.

Two women have died and one suffered a miscarriage after eating Indian rojak from a stall in the market.
