Woman caught stealing handbag

A woman was caught red-handed for stealing a diner's handbag on security cameras at a fast food outlet.
The video clip was sent in by a reader to citizen journalism website, Stomp.
According to the reader who received the clip via email, the well-dressed woman not only acted fast, but also icy cool and confident. The fact that there were many diners in the outlet did not deter her from stealing.
The video clip also shows that the thief did not seem to be working alone. Her accomplice is a man who shields her with his jacket just as she was grabbing the bag and who also exited the outlet with her.
The reader also wanted to warn the public to remain vigilant.
