Indian jeweller Ghanshyam Soni displays a replica of an Indian 500 rupee (S$15) currency note, made from 10 grams of pure silver, at his workplace in Ahmedabad on Oct. 10, 2009. The silver rupee note is not recognised as legal tender by the Reserve Bank of India. Silver currency notes are in high demand due to the forthcoming Deepavali festival which falls on Oct 17.
