Colourful cartoon characters take to the skies
The Macy's Day Parade was held in New York City on 25 November 2010.
The 84th annual celebration featured approximately 8,000 participants including 1,600 cheerleaders and dancers.
It also featured 15 giant character balloons, 43 novelty balloons and 12 marching bands.
