Fifth batch of candidates from PAP introduced

The People's Action Party introduced it fifth batch of candidates on April 4, Monday. They will most likely be fielded at the coming General Election 2011.

Deputy Prime Minister Wong Kan Seng introduced them at PAP Headquarters.

They are Mr Patrick Tay Teck Guan, 40, executive secretary of The Healthcare Services Employees' Union and adviser/senior consultant of the union of Security Employees, Ms Low Yen Ling, 37, former director of professional services at the Economic Development Board (EDB); and Brigadier-General Tan Chuan-Jin, 42, former army general from the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF).
