SINGAPORE - Singapore will go to the polls on May 7.
The 11th Singapore Parliament was dissolved on April 19, with the announcement made through a government gazette issued by President S R Nathan in the afternoon.
Nomination Day will be on April 27. This will be followed by nine days of campaigning with an extra Cooling-Off Day before Polling Day on May 7, which has been declared a public holiday.
