Under 30 and eager to serve

There are 12 candidates aged 29 and below contesting this general election, making it the largest slate of young candidates who are entering the political fray in recent times.

The Reform Party (RP) has five young candidates, the National Solidarity Party (NSP) has three, the People's Action Party (PAP) two and the Workers' Party (WP) and the Singapore Democratic Party (SDP) one each.

In many constituencies, the young people are taking on older and more experienced incumbent politicians.
