"Smurfs" break Global Guinness World Record attempt

Thousands of people attended a world record attempt at a photocall to highlight the release of the film The Smurfs in 12 countries around the world.

Promoters for the film "The Smurfs" gathered volunteers dressed as "Smurfs" to take part in a Global Guinness World Record attempt for the most people dressed as "Smurfs" ever.

The world record was later broken.
