Singapore's buried past at Bukit Brown Cemetery
About 5 per cent of the more than 100,000 graves in Bukit Brown cemetery, one of Singapore's oldest cemeteries, is expected to be affected by the building of a new road in 2013.

Many graves here belong to prominent pioneers, such as Lim Nee Soon, Tan Tock Seng, Chew Boon Lay, and Lim Keng Chiew, who was one of the 14 founding members of the Singapore branch of Dr Sun Yat Sen's Chinese Revolutionary Alliance.
