Jyoti Amge, the world's shortest living woman, has started campaigning for Indian political party Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) for the upcoming municipal elections in Mumbai.
According to online news sources, Amge was invited by MNS leader Ram Kadamji to appeal to voters to vote for MNS.
She said she accepted his offer because she has seen them work in Nagpur and believe the party can bring change.
She was certified by the Guinness World Records last December as the shortest woman in the world with an average measurement of 62.8cm.
Amge, who has a form of dwarfism called achondroplasia that has restricted her height to that of an average four-month-old baby girl, finished her high school exams last year.
