Netizens are rejoicing that at least four members of the gang of Chinese youths who were caught on video brazenly beating up old folks at a nursing home in Jiangsu, China, were given a taste of their own medicine.

A video and a number of screenshots were uploaded on popular Chinese discussion forum Mop allegedly showing the four being mercilessly thrashed by a mob of their peers from their hometown.

The post was titled “Teenager in blue beaten up by youths in his hometown" by an anonymous contributor.

The post quickly garnered thousands of comments.

Many expressed support for the mob, giving a thumbs up for the teenagers who "shamelessly" disrespected and physically abused the elderly being brought to justice by their peers.

However, some netizens have expressed doubt that the beating is not of the original culprits, but rather a fake video showing an unrelated act of violence.

Chinese netizens are up in arms over a video of a group of youths beating up elderly men.

In the video, the young men and a few older men are arguing, and the argument escalates when an older man throws a punch at one of the younger men.

One of the older men was also kicked after falling to the gorund.

The incident allegedly took place at an elderly folks home in Jiangsu Province, Changzhou City.

Online reports say the youths were caught stealing from the home and the old men had threatened to tell their parents about the incident.

Police said they are investigating the incident.
