Jennifer Lopez has climbed 50 spots to clinch the no. 1 position in Forbes' 2012 World's Most Powerful Celebrity list.

Oprah Winfrey and Justin Bieber remain in 2nd and 3rd place respectively. Winfrey is the highest-earning celebrity in the list earning US$165 million (S$207.22 million) last year.

The top ten spots also saw new entries Rihanna (4th) and Kim Kardashian (7th). Last year's top celeb Lady Gaga dropped to 5th place.

The Celebrity 100 calculates the results based on each celebrity's earnings and fame between May 1, 2011 and May 1, 2012.
