If elected, WP's Lee Li Lian will be the second female member from the party in Parliament. She believes her gender allows her to understands problems better.

She cited "a personal touch" and a "different point of view" as a woman in Parliament, which will help her understand the problems faced by constituents better.

Ms Lee also responded to PM Lee's earlier comment on Saturday that PAP candidate Dr Koh Poh Koon has the potential and ability to be more than an MP. Full story here
