Young woman viciously beaten up by lover on busy street

CHINA - A man was caught on camera beating and kicking a woman on a busy street in Changchun City, China.

The man, who was presumed to be the woman's lover, even dragged her down the street by grabbing onto her hair. According to witnesses, the man shouted at her: "This is for you not coming home for three months!"

To the onlookers' surprise, the woman was actually carrying a small dog under her jacket and trying to shield it from being hurt by the man's attacks.

The commotion attracted a small crowd of about 30 people but none of them stepped in to disrupt the fight. A witness at the scene said that he did not want to get involved as it looked like a lovers' quarrel.

Finally, photographer Mr Song Tiebiao came forward and asked the man to stop beating the woman. The punches stopped, but only for a while. After Mr Song left, the man chased the woman down the street and started hitting her again.

Netizens are shocked and furious that nobody came forward to help the woman, and the photographer Mr Song has drawn flak for taking advantage of the situation as a news piece.

Dramatic roadside fight caught on camera

A motoring incident which was caught on camera had two drivers seeing red on a busy street in China. The video started as the drivers got out of their vehicles and started to exchange words.

Though it is unclear what was said, within seconds, they started to throw punches and kicks at each other.

Despite on-going traffic, the two men, who looked like they were thirties, continued to bash one another. At one point, the handphone of the man in an off-white windbreaker, flew out of his pocket.

At first, no one dared to intervene in the scuffle. But after the duo broke apart briefly, their family and friends quickly got in between them to prevent another round of fresh punches.

With the aid of their family and friends, their tempers eventually simmered and they both returned to their cars and drove off.

Village chief bashes villager, charges at her with knife

Together with a group of more than 10 young men, a superintendent of a Chinese village has been caught on camera barging into a Shandong villager's home while wielding a knife and shouting aggitatedly.

The men seemed to have lost all control as they kicked and punched at the walls of the woman's home, knocking a door down and forcing open a big metal gate. Although he was dressed in a suit, the village leader was in no way a gentleman when he attacked the helpless villager and her friend on Christmas eve, netizens have said after watching the video online.

As he flew into a rage, he led the 10 young men into a fight with two women, throwing punches and kicking at her as they backed into a corner. One of the woman was also carrying a toddler in her arms at the time.

Bystanders tried to hold the men back but the angry group of people did not give up on their attacks. In the footage, the police can be seen arriving at the house with its front door torn down. Unfortunately, their help came too late as the group of violent men had left the scene a long time ago.

Video footage of the incident was uploaded online shortly after the incident and has since gone viral. The Dingtao government has since said it would investigate and provide help to the victims as well as punish those responsible for the incident.
