Uncle goes on Facebook to woo kopitiam aunty

SINGAPORE - This local advertisement is not only creative and funny, but also connects with its target audience.

The ad was meant for StarHub's Golden Gurus initiative, which seeks tech-savvy seniors to help other seniors to become familiar with the internet. The advertisement shows an old man who is captivated by the sight of an aunty at a coffeeshop.

The old man's friend suggests that he use Facebook to get to know the woman. The old man, however, has no idea that Facebook is a social networking website.

Instead, he heads to the library, tries to search for a book by that name. He then asks a librarian to help him locate Facebook, drawing an annoyed reaction from her.

The ad has garnered numerous views since it was posted and has many positive comments which praise it for being innovative and hilarious.

'Ah bengs' and 'ah lians' go all out for wedding day
SINGAPORE - It is a common sight during local weddings to see "sisters" of the bride giving the groom and his "brothers" an extremely hard time on the couple's wedding day. The groom will be made to do awkward and hilarious stunts to prove his worthiness and his "brothers" are there to help him out.

This time round, a creative couple decided to sprinkle some local spice to their special day when they got their friends to dress up in traditional samfus pantsuits and singlets. The women also got dolled up with badly drawn eyeliners and bright red lipstick.

The bizarre get-up coupled with the ridiculous tasks that the groom and his "brothers" were made to do, turned their wedding video a popular hit. See what crazy antics this couple and their friends got into.
