4 workers severely electrocuted

A disturbing 10 min and 26 sec video on RunExpress's YouTube channel shows four workers who were severely electrocuted.

According to the video's description, the Chinese men were painters at NICE factory in Nancun, China.

They were navigating a corner with a nine-metre-high scaffolding that accidentally touched one of 10,000 volt high-tension wires.

The video shows them severely electrocuted in a frozen stance holding the scaffolding for a good 10 seconds before the first man drops to the floor.

The video carries on to show them combusting as smoke is seen coming out of their bodies and, eventually, one man's body catches fire.

One man miraculously manages to escape, but accidentally electrocutes himself again as he tries to walk out.

The video's description also reported that a plastic wheel located at the bottom of the scaffolding had melted and was stuck to the ground due to the high voltage that went through it.

One man, who had died on the spot, had a charred face with his hair stood up.

Apparently, the video's description said that one man died and the other three received treatment to their injuries while other online reports said that two of the men died and two survived.

Other online reports have used this video as an example of the utmost importance of work safety.
