*UPDATE* Funeral of victims of Kovan murders on Tuesday afternoon

SINGAPORE - The funeral of the two victims of the Kovan murders were held on Tuesday afternoon.

At the last day of the wake on Tuesday, three priests arrived at about 10.30am and about 15 family members took part in the funeral rites.

Two hearses will leave the Teochew Funeral Parlour to go round the workplace of Mr Tan Boon Sin and Mr Tan Chee Heong before heading to the Mandai Crematorium.

Family spokesman, Ong Book Kok, who is also the uncle of the younger victim Tan Chee Heong, said he was thankful for the help from the police and those who provided eyewitness accounts or other evidence to the police.
