Icon glamour

HIGH society and fashion magazine Icon celebrated its third anniversary in style with some of Singapore's swankiest people on Wednesday night.
The women wore flowing gowns and feathered accessories while the men were decked out in black designer suits. Hosted by Diana Ser, the three-hour affair at St Regis hotel included a fashion show by La Perla and a trapeze act at the John Jacob Ballroom. About 300 guests tucked into a five-course dinner.

Icon, the first luxury Chinese magazine here, is published by SPH Magazines. Five Icon awards - Most Dazzling, Most Glamorous, Most Gorgeous, Most Stylish and Most Elegant - were given out.

The fab five are corporate banker Monica Marthen, socialite Chiang Yu Lan, medical doctor Jade Kua, 28, aesthetics doctor Georgia Lee, 40, and businesswoman Rany Moran, 27. The others declined to give their age.
