2007 saw the release of many long awaited gadgets. The Straits Times Digital Life's top 10 choices were featured on AsiaOne's Digital site and we asked you, our readers, to vote for your coolest gadget of the year. Here is what you thought was the best of 2007. Apple's iPhone wins hands down as the gadget of 2007 grabbing 66 per cent of the votes. With the warnings sent to retailers in Sim Lim Square selling 'hacked' versions of the mobiles even before they are released in Singapore, it is no wonder our readers are lapping up on this product. Who knows what will happen this year when it is officially launched in Asia? The next favourite gadget of the year is the arm swinging Wii by Nintendo which garnered 13 percent of readers' votes. It outsold Sony's PS3 in Japan and North America and still gets rave reviews about its games and motion sensor control. With a variety of sports games to play, the Wii is a favourite for many as it combines video pursuit with some fitness. With seven per cent of the votes, third place goes to Nokia's N95. With 8MG of internal flash memory and features such as a built-in Assisted Global Positioning System and Wi-Fi networking, our readers found this gadget something worth holding on to.
