It was a close fight for the top spot, with less than two percentage points separating the top two readers' picks

At the end of the vote count, Dolce Vista at The Oriental came out tops with 23.1 per cent of the votes.

It is one of the few places you can go to for Southern European cuisine, the food at Dolce Vista also features a little North African influence, offering both a sense of familiarity and uniqueness at the same time.

Coming in a very close number two spot is Harbour Grill and Oyster bar, at the Hilton Singapore,

Food served there is turned into intricate works of art by Michelin-star French chef Stephane Gaborieau, and all the dishes are done so well that there is really nothing to be unhappy about.

Cherry Garden at the Mandarin Oriental rounds up the top three spots with  17.9 per cent of readers voting for the Chinese restuarant offering fine cantonese dim sum.
