Airbus to fund search for Air France jet's black boxes

PARIS - Airbus is willing to spend up to 20 million euros to help in the search for the flight recorders of an Air France A330 which crashed in the Atlantic on June 1 killing 228 people, La Tribune said Thursday.

"We want to know what exactly happened," Airbus chief executive Thomas Enders told the business newspaper. "We are supporting an extended search by making a big contribution." » Read more
