Calling all burnt-out Singaporeans: Fiji wants to make you happy again

If you're suffering from a near mental breakdown from the pressures at work, or know someone who is, then it's time to go to Fiji.

Fiji Airways and Tourism Fiji are seeking nominations of the most stressed out and overworked Singaporeans in need of a break to send to the island paradise.

Nominations for the nationwide social media competition can be made via Fiji Airways or Tourism Fiji's Facebook pages.

All you have to do is to explain why you or your nominee deserve to experience a holiday in Fiji. The contest closes on September 12.

Mr Andre Viljoen, Fiji Airways Managing Director and CEO said, "Fijians live in the moment and try to find happiness in everything they do. Singapore is such a hardworking society and we want to help them take a break and share the happiness that is so natural and infectious here."

Separately, a 4D sensory Fijian Virtual Rehab experience will be launched next month at Millenia Walk. From Sept 19 to 23, visitors to the simulator can "immerse" in the sights and sounds of Fiji.

For those who want the real deal, a special airfare offer is on from now to Dec 31, 2016 for travel before March 31, 2017.

Fares start from $855 return in Economy Class.
