Park Hyatt's first beach resort opens in China

Park Hyatt has recently opened its first beach resort in China.

Dubbed the Park Hyatt Sanya Sunny Bay Resort, the property is located next to beautiful Nan Hu Lake in Hainan Island and comprises six standalone, arch-shaped buildings designed to allow chi to flow unhindered between ocean and mountains.

Designed by an award-winning Belgian architect Jean-Michel Gathy, the six buildings are interlinked by wide walkways and offer flexible spaces with only 207 rooms and villas across the 70,000-square-meter property.

In addition to swimming in the private bay, guests can choose from five swimming pools available at the resort. Other facilities worth mentioning include eight main food-and-beverage venues - the dining room, cellar, pool house, pool bar, bath house, library, terrace and tea house - and eight residential-style venues.
