Wah seh! Jetstar launches Singlish flight for National Day

What started out originally as an April fool's prank is now becoming a legitimate flight operation.

Following popular demand and requests on social media, Jetstar says it will be making familiar on-board announcements - in Singlish, to celebrate the nation's 51st birthday on Tuesday, August 9.

So passengers can expect to hear announcements like "kiap your seatbelt tight tight" and "put your barang barang under the chair" from the pilot and cabin crew.

Jetstar is also launching their all-inclusive, one-way sale fare of $51 to many of Singaporean's favourite destinations including Bali, Hong Kong, and Taipei.

Bookings can be made at jetstar.com.
