SINGAPORE - Valentine's Day is just round the corner, and if you haven't made plans yet, we have rounded up some places for you. From mid-range places to splurge-worthy joints, there will be a place to suit your palate and wallet.

Mid-range

Alkaff Mansion Ristorante

Is your partner a die-hard romantic? The hilltop restaurant will be decorated with over 7,000 fairy lights for Valentine's Day.

Choose between a four- or five- course dinner. The five-course dinner has an additional entree of fresh Coffin Bay oysters with salsa and lemon accompanied with a glass of Prosecco. For mains, you have the option of oven-baked Atlantic Cod or Beef Tenderloin.

Balzac Brassiere & Bar

Executive Chef Jean-Charles Dubois has prepared a four-course French dinner that includes mains such as roasted French cod fish with artichokes, and braised and glazed Spanish pork ribs. There is also the tartar of Mozambique prawns with caviar for appetiser.

Available only on Valentine's Day are two His and Hers cocktails at $18++ each. Mr Valentine is a cocktail of brandy with Angostura Bitters, sugar and topped with champagne. Ms Valentine is a cocktail of berries Vodka, elderflower syrup, cherry and topped with champagne.

Eggs & Berries

Do both of you love eggs? Eggs round off the main courses at this restaurant. Choose from either a sous vide marinated duck breast with scrambled eggs on the side or sous vide salmon fillet with a poached egg.

The set menu also comes with a butternut soup topped with milk forth like a cappuccino, and chocolate lava and Boston cream pie for dessert.

Fish & Co.

Tuck into a seafood paella platter for two with flame-grilled tiger prawns, mussels, scallops, prawn fitters and crisp battered fish, rice and hand-whipped mash potatoes.

The Valentine's Day platter comes with two mocktails and two soups. It is only valid for dine-in.

Splurge

7Adam Gallery Restaurant

Enjoy the meal at the outdoor terrace while 7Adam's resident band, Princess and The Lilies serenades you. The six-course dinner comes with grilled lobster gratinated with tumeric thermidor style or pan-seared Javanese spiced lamb racks for mains, and entrees such as oysters and celeriac soup with Hokkaido scallop.

Couples will also receive a single stalk of rose, souvenir snapshot and a petit four. Pre-orders of main course is required when making reservations.

Sky on 57

Be charmed by the scenic view at 57 storeys and delight in a six-course dinner featuring dishes such as 'Utopia's Paradise' (salmon trout confit, Gillardeau oyster, sea urchin and Oscietra caviar) and 'Love Potion' (roasted vine ripened tomato veloute, poached Maine lobster and basil emulsion).

Da Paolo Gastronomia

If you prefer to have a romantic meal at home, don't worry if you can't cook. You can always get yummy takeouts. Serve up the pretty heart-shaped veal ravioli ($5.80 per 100g) that is tossed in veal jus, sage and grated parmesan. End the meal with a heart-shaped crodo - their version of a cronut - that is filled with a rose-infused chocolate ganache and crowned with a layer of pink marshmallow frosting ($10.80 for two).

Pangaea
