Actors Nicky Wu and Cecilia Liu to hold wedding ceremony in Bali

Former teen heartthrob Nicky Wu, 45, is set to hold his wedding celebrations with Chinese actress Cecilia Liu in Bali next month, reported Jayne Stars.

The pair is said to have invited around 100 guests which includes close family, friends and colleagues.

The groom's former band mates Alec Su and Julian Chen from the popular 90s boy band Xiao Hu Dui will also be attending the destination wedding.

Wu and former ballerina Liu, 28, registered their marriage in January 2015 and are officially married, said Jayne Stars. However, they were not able to hold their wedding ceremony due to their busy schedules.

The Taiwanese actor was earlier criticised by the online community for not presenting his fiancee with a ring during his wedding proposal. He reportedly earned millions from his acting jobs and endorsements.

Four months after they were married in a civil ceremony, Wu "proposed" again by surprising Liu on set with a diamond ring.

In addition to the ring, Wu also got her a cake and they blew out the candles together.

Pictures posted on their social media accounts show their faces flushed from consuming alcohol, especially for Wu, at the celebration.

The celebrity couple met on set while filming the TV drama series Scarlet Heart in 2011 and reportedly dated for over a year before getting hitched.

Their romance generated a buzz due to their wide age gap.
