Andy Lau's daughter not given priority as she enters nursery in Hong Kong

Hong Kong actor-singer Andy Lau may be a superstar, but when it comes to enrolling his only child, Hanna, for school, there are no special privileges.

Lau and his wife Carol Chu's daughter turned three this year and will enter nursery in September.

According to My Paper, speculation on which school she will be attending has been a hot topic in the media.

Recently, Hanna and her mother, who wore a face mask, were spotted at a school taking photos for some registration documents.

Hanna wore her school uniform but held on tightly to her mum throughout the registration process. Their domestic helper was also spotted close by.

According to an insider, Hanna did not receive any special privileges and had to join the queue just like everyone else.

She seemed shy and was at first unwilling to pose for the photos. So as not to hold up the queue, the other kids behind were asked to go first. After some coaxing from Chu, Hanna eventually got the photo-taking done.

This is not the first time Andy Lau's precious daughter has been photographed in public this year.

According to celebrity blog Jaynestars, while Lau had fiercely guarded his daughter's privacy since the day she was born, he had promised fans that he will introduce Hanna to them when she turned three.

He fulfilled his promise when he brought Chu and Hanna to a party celebrating his fan club's 27th anniverary on June 6 this year.
