Are Martin and Lawrence consciously coupling?

For Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, the answer is to seek solace in the arms of Jennifer Lawrence.

The 37-year-old musician has been dating 24-year-old Lawrence, the star of the X-Men and Hunger Games movies, since the end of June, reported Britain's Daily Mail.

Lawrence recently broke up with on-off boyfriend Nicholas Hoult, her X-Men co-star.

It comes amid rumours that Martin's estranged wife Paltrow, 41, has started a relationship with TV show Glee's co-creator Brad Falchuk.

On Friday E! News claimed "multiple sources" have confirmed there is a budding romance between Martin and Lawrence, despite their 13-year age difference.

While both are notoriously private the couple were seen at an after party following Coldplay's gig at The Royal Albert Hall in London last month.

The outing came four months after Paltrow and Martin - who have two children together - announced they were "consciously uncoupling" via a statement on her lifestyle blog Goop.

Lawrence's split earlier this summer from Hoult was just as friendly, with sources saying their busy careers were to blame.

Like Martin, Hoult is a Brit, something Lawrence has made clear she finds appealing.

"I'm a big fan of all things British," she said in an earlier interview with The Sun.

Hoult has not been pining. The 24-year-old actor and Twilight star Kristen Stewart are rumoured to have become close while filming their new movie Equals.

They were linked romantically soon after his split from Lawrence became public.

A source told Britain's Daily Star: "Nick is besotted with Kristen. They're a match made in heaven - they're both anti-fame and share a very strong work ethic.

"Almost as soon as Jennifer told Nick it was over between them, he began seeing Kristen."
