Riding on the trend of watery skincare essences, which are essentially a multitasking toner, pre-serum lotion and skin-softener in one, Laneige has launched its Clear C Advanced Effector ($56, Laneige counters).

To be used right after cleaning, it contains vitamin C and antioxidants from the extracts of acerloa fruit and acai berry to keep skin clear and healthy.

The lotion also comes with a box of 60 double-sided cotton pads.

The striped surface is used for exfoliation, while the smoother side is for hydrating the skin.

Tip: Soothe inflamed skin by placing a soaked pad on the affected areas for two or three minutes.
