City scent

Renowned Swiss fragrance manufacturer Givaudan and the National Heritage Board have collaborated on a scent to mark the republic's jubilee year.

Called City, this unisex scent stands out with its sophisticated blend of clean, floral and green accords. It opens with notes of grapefruit and pepper; goes deeper with ylang ylang, jasmine, magnolia and orchid; and finishes with amber, vetiver and ambrette.

The eau de parfum is concocted by Givaudan perfumer Shyamala Maisondieu, who has created scents for brands such as Tom Ford, Lanvin and Diesel.

City ($80 for 50ml) will be sold later this month at the National Museum of Singapore store for a limited time.
