1) MAC STUDIO FINISH CONCEALER DUO
This concealer has two hues that you can use to blend into your skin.
The darker one gives coverage while the lighter one blends it in.
The coverage is so thick that you can cover up tattoos and birthmarks if you want.
I like the creamy texture; it means that I don't have to pull at the skin around my eyes.
All you need is a teensy tiny dab. Pat it on the skin with your finger - you don't even need a brush.
Can anyone say "money saving"? So while the retail price might give you a bit of a pause, this is going to go a long way.
Which is why it earns my top spot this week.
Available from today at all MAC stores.
2) BOBBI BROWN CONCEALER KIT
It is a moisturising concealer. I know how some of my friends will love this with their more mature skin.
The manufacturer says it is supposed to conceal fine lines. I don't have very many at the moment, but am definitely keeping this in mind for the time I do.
This one wins points as it can last for eight hours. It is waterproof and the yellow undertone also brightens and illuminates my relatively tanned skin.
Available at all Bobbi Brown stores.
3) BAREMINERALS CORRECTING CONCEALER BROAD SPECTRUM SPF 20
I am definitely keeping this in my make-up stash.
It is creamy, giving full coverage that blends well with my skin colour.
But it doesn't stay on for very long, which is why it doesn't earn my top vote.
It still gets a place in my pouch, as I like that it has SPF protection.
Delicate eye areas need every bit of love and care you can give.
It comes in six shades and supposedly contains lemon peel extract that the manufacturer says help brighten skin and reduce the appearance of dark spots over time.
Available at all Sephora stores.
