Two women are living in fear of their ex-husbands who are stalking them, reported Harian Metro.
The women were identified by just single names - Anis, 34, and Radziah (no age provided).
Anis claimed that she had to live in hiding as her former husband had hired thugs to spy on her, saying he had also threatened her parents after his request for reconciliation was ignored.
The couple got married in 2002 and were divorced last year.
"He even called me, pretending to be someone else, just to check on my daily movements," Anis was quoted as saying.
What's worse, Anis said she even had to accept responsibility for RM1.5mil worth of illegal loans taken by her ex-husband under her name.
Radziah shared a similar predicament, saying she asked for a divorce due to physical abuse she suffered at her ex-husband's hands.
She said she had to live in hiding as she was frightened of her ex-husband. They were married in 2004 and divorced five years later.
She claimed that her husband even lodged a false police report claiming that he was prevented from meeting their child.
"But the court had ruled that he could only visit our child in court," she said.
Radziah added that her former husband even went to the extent of accusing her of having an affair with her cousin.
