Having double eyelids has long been a sought after beauty trend in South Korea.

However, it looks like this trend is beginning to change.

Recently, there has been an increase in celebrities with single eyelids and make-up tips catering to this are on the rise.

Having single eyelids is now seen as a virtue thanks to Ahn So-hee who made her debut as a member of Wondergirls in 2007.

Nowadays, Ahn is working as an actress and has featured in many fashion magazines as one of the few celebrities with single eyelids.

Seulgi from Red Velvet has followed suit.

On the show 'Radio Star,' she was introduced as the only member of SM Entertainment with single eyelids.

Yet, many say that they are drawn by her flawless appearance that matches her personality.

Kim Go-eun is a rising star in the popular TV series 'Guardian.'

Playing the role of a high school student, Kim does not wear much make-up, emphasizing her youthful look.

Make-up artists say that the major tip to creating a flawless look for those with single eyelids is moderation.

Unlike double eyelids, single eyelids should avoid using fancy eye shadow, instead opting for basic colors to create a simple and elegant look.
