Fan Bingbing's sex scene with Leon Lai on a horse sparks worry

For Fan Bingbing, there is no such thing as "too much" when it comes to the call of her duty. Even in a country notorious for its media screening policies, scenes that show much of her skin is not too much for Fan.

On Thursday, leaked screenshots of her sex scene with "Lady of the Dynasty" co-star Leon Lai caused an uproar among Weibo users, reported China Topix.

In the movie set in the Tang dynasty, Fan's character Yang Guifei is riding a horse when Lai's character Emperor Xuanzong comes up to her and rips off her clothes. Apparently, an erotic straddling of the animal ensued and this 'horse sex' (referred to as 'ma zhen' in Mandarin) prompted concern among the netizens.

According to online media reports, there was worry about what the added weight of 123kg from both leads would do to the horse.

Netizens also left comments on Weibo, asking Fan's boyfriend Li Chen for his opinion. Li was a good sport, feigning ignorance and commented, "Who is 'ma zhen'?"

My Paper reported on Monday that a few Chinese netizens had requested the film company to censor the controversial scene, calling it a "bad influence on the young".

However when questioned about the matter, Fan Bingbing reportedly said: "If your heart is dirty, whatever you watch will also be dirty".
