Fann Wong loses 16kg in 2.5 months after pregnancy

SINGAPORE - Local actress Fann Wong has reportedly lost 16kg since giving birth to her son, Zed Lee, on August 9, 2014.

The 43-year-old, who is married to local actor Christopher Lee, underwent a 10-week customised post-natal slimming programme by Marie France Bodyline and is said to have lost 29 inches on her overall body after the programme.

At a Marie France Bodyline press conference on Wednesday afternoon (Jan 7), she made her first appearance since undergoing the programme in a sexy black dress that showed off her long legs and slim waist.

She was very confident of her figure and said that she wouldn't mind doing a bikini shoot if approached.

Marie France Bodyline claimed on its website that Wong's skin was "visibly firmer than before". It also claimed that the actress' body fat and water retention levels have reduced as well.

However, Wong's weight loss journey wasn't all smooth sailing. At the press conference, she said: "I started to think that it was really difficult. I also felt very bloated all the time."

She felt that the weight in her thighs and tummy were the hardest to lose, reported The New Paper.

Looking radiant and slim at the press conference, she now weighs 54kg.

Lee, Wong's husband, who came to surprise her at the press conference with a bouquet of flowers, jokingly said that they should try for a second child now that she has slimmed down.

On her future plans, Wong said that she might plan to go to China and start filming. Although leaving her five-month-old son will not be easy for herself and Lee, she said that they needed to overcome it.

Wong is also preparing her son for Chinese New Year, saying: "I've been training Zed to say 'Gongxi Gongxi' so that he can collect hongbao from all the uncles and aunties he meets."
