OM TIME

Singaporeans looking for more options in fitness apparel are in luck.

Local sister duo Alicia and Michelle Loh have started a new online portal Omgoing at www.omgoing.com to offer alternative and cult yoga and fitness clothing.

The site stocks eight under-the-radar brands from the United States, Australia and Brazil - Bad Kitty, Body Angel Activewear, Dharmabums, Everfitte, Glyder Apparel (above), Liquidoactive, Shakti Activewear and Teeki.

Many of the designs are brightly coloured, printed or feature cut-outs for a big style statement. Prices range from $32 for a top to $93 for a pair of leggings.

ROGER THAT

French designer accessories brand Roger Vivier has created a limited-edition set of Miss Viv' handbags and Ballerine U-Look shoes to celebrate the brand's presence in Asia and the spring/summer 2015 season.

The Miss Viv' handbag, which comes in exclusive hues of metallic gold, metallic silver, vivid green and fuchsia pink, features the brand's iconic square buckle.

The Ballerine U-Look flats, available in the same colourways, sport a new buckle shape made of two U-shaped structures joined together.

The brand will bring in 80 pieces of the small Miss Viv' handbags and 350 pairs of the Ballerine U-Look to Singapore.

The bags retail for $3,700 while the shoes cost $1,110 (gold and silver) and $1,040 (green and pink).

Shoppers can find the items at the Roger Vivier boutique at 02-12F Takashimaya Shopping Centre from Monday till March 30.

MIKIMOTO'S FLAGSHIP

Japanese pearl label Mikimoto has opened its flagship store in Orchard Road.

In addition to the classic pearl designs, the 581-sq-ft boutique will carry a range of high jewellery pieces (above) for a limited time to celebrate the launch.

The Orchard flagship store is the brand's third, after locations at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands and Centrepoint, and features a VIP room for a more private experience.

The new store is located at 02-04 Ion Orchard.

OBJECT OF DESIRE

British shoe designer Nicholas Kirkwood's quirky-cool designs are a fashion insider favourite.

His iconic chevron motif has been re-interpreted for his Mirage collection, which features cut leather and clear PVC to form a graphic illusion.

This mid-height version in black is both subtle and intriguing.
