What was the inspiration behind the Starbucks collaboration?

I am a Starbucks fan and I particularly enjoy working with a company outside of the fashion community because it is both exciting and challenging.

You are known for your elaborate work dress sense. How do you make it work?

As long as you're confident in the outfit, it works. Sometimes, I'll wear ball gowns to meetings - it depends on what kind of mood I'm in.

What has been the most memorable moment in your career?

There are many moments which are equally memorable, including opening my first store and running my first fashion show.

Who would you love to see in Alice and Olivia and why?

United States First Lady Michelle Obama because she's a strong, intelligent, inspirational woman whom I truly admire.

Which collection are you working on now? What can we expect from it?

I'm currently working on the fall 2015 collection. Think London in the 1960s.
