Hong Kong actress Vivian Chow attended an audience appreciation event recently, along with her "Cafe. Waiting. Love" co-stars Bruce, Vivian Sung Yu-Hua and Marcus Chang.
They announced that the film has already reached HK$20 million (S$3.3 million) after being released in Hong Kong for four weeks, with its Taiwan box office takings reaching NT$50 million (S$2.1 million).
The cast were welcomed at the event with enthusiastic applause. Bruce even reprised a magic trick involving a hot dog from the film.
Vivian said that she felt very happy to that the movie performed well at the box office.
When asked if she caught the acting bug again after the production, she responded: "This isn't my regular job, I will leave it up to fate in the future."
She added that her husband, Joe Nieh, has watched the movie twice, but did not give her a review on her performance.
"He only said that the entire film was a pleasant surprise," said Vivian.
The 46-year-old actress was also asked if her husband would cheer her up with magic tricks. The couple have been married for two decades.
She joked: "He is always playing pranks on me, but since this is personal I won't talk about it.
"He may look scholarly but he is actually very mischievous.
"I look very nice but I am mischievous as well."
At the event, Bruce also promised that he would bungee jump in a bikini in Macau if the Hong Kong box office takings for the movie hit HK$30 million.
